Clever Paws Dog Training

This is a 4 week course especially for puppies and beginner dogs. This is the most important time in a dogs life and the correct training now will shape your dogs future. Using modern positive reward training we will teach you and your dog all the basics including: good social manners; positive play; sit, down, stand; coming when called; walking on a loose lead and much much more.
Course fee £60.

This is a 5 week course for dogs that have completed the puppy /beginners course. We will be strengthening the training covered in the first course and introducing new elements. This training will be roughly based on the Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze award and will include: scent discrimination; distraction recalls; send away; stays and building on basic heelwork skills. This course is designed to be fun & enjoyable for you and your dog and aims to increase the bond and understanding between you both, whilst improving your dogs social and cognitive skills.
Course fee £50.

This is a 5 week course designed for handlers and dogs that wish to train to a higher level or are working towards the Kennel Club Good Citizen Silver & Gold awards. This training will build on the skills developed in the intermediate class and will also include: off lead heelwork; retrieve ; out of sight stays; formal recalls with footwork; emergency stops. This course also incorporates many fun elements that the dogs and handlers enjoy.
Course fee £50.

This is a weekly class for people wishing to train towards competing at Kennel Club level shows. Dogs in this class can be of any age from puppies upwards (any breed welcome). You do not have to have completed the intermediate or advanced course to join this class. This is a more specific type of training and like all the other classes is clicker based and uses only kind reward methods.
